Kairos Christian Youth Camp

The Kairos Camp is a Christian youth camp which runs at the end of August during the summer holidays. It runs for young people aged 13-18. There are loads of activities and events throughout the camp for young people to engage with, including Worship Gatherings, Craft Activities, Workshops, Choir, Movie Nights, Sports, Prayer Spaces and the ever popular Silent Disco.

Doulos Servant Leadership Programme

Partnering with Tees Valley YFC and UK-USA Ministries, The Rose Education Foundation is proud to support the Doulos Servant Leadership Programme, a experiential training course which is being exclusively piloted her in the North-East of England.

The three year course has been developed for young people aged 15-18 who already show a spark of leadership potential and to expose them to leadership principals and practical examples to aid them in growing as young leaders.

Many proven local, national and some international leaders from a wide of backgrounds come to sessions to share their experiences and lessons that they have learned through their own leadership journey. Including guest speakers from the world of business, education and faith, sessions take place in both an informal seminar setting and in significant trip based locations, such as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and places to see the whole view of the Tees Valley like Carlton Bank.

Focus Live / Church Rocks Events

The Focus Live and Church Rocks events are church based youth events held over a weekend every month in St. Georges Church Normanby, Middlesbrough.

Focus Live is held on the first Friday of the month, it is an action packed event for 11-18 year olds with loads going on, each month varies but it might include things such as…
-Football cage
-Gladiator bouncy castle
-Nail and arts bar
-Tuck shop
-Hot-Dogs and a selection of soft drinks
-DJ’s and music
-Live interviews
-Gospel challenge
-Inflatable boxing ring

Church Rocks is held the same weekend as Focus Live, but on the Sunday night. With live worship bands, testimonies, games, music, talks and a cafe area. It’s an easy going service and is very friendly to those new to church.
